Established in 1922, Carroll National Golf Club, formerly known as Carroll Country Club, has proudly stood as one of Western Iowa’s premier golf courses for over a century. Our rich history and longstanding commitment to excellence have made us a beloved destination for golfers of all skill levels.
In February 2024, Carroll National Golf Club began an exciting new chapter under the ownership of Nick Nurse, Head Coach of the Philadelphia 76ers. Nick, along with his parents and eight siblings, was born and raised in Carroll. Their deep-rooted connection to the community has always been a cornerstone of their lives. The Nurse family were dedicated members of Carroll Country Club for over 35 years, up until 2015.
Nick Nurse is a proud 1985 graduate of Kuemper High School. His enduring relationship with the City of Carroll and its citizens reflects his ongoing commitment to giving back to the community that shaped him. Through the purchase of the golf club, Nick and his family are thrilled to continue their tradition of community support and engagement.
